The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Sledge breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
A low kick from Sledge is predictable there
and Sanchez counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Sanchez tries to keep at a distance but Sledge has taken the fight into the clinch.
Sanchez manages to break the clinch.
Sledge throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Sanchez tumbling to the canvas!
Sanchez is rocked!
It looks like Scot Sanchez has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Sledge gets to his feet and stands over Sanchez, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Sanchez felt that one! Sledge unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Sanchez from any more punishment!
