Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the featherweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lister on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Wightman lands a jab to the nose.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Wightman lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lister has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lister and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
It looked like Lister was trying to counter with a body shot coming off that last attack from Wightman.
Wightman ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Wightman slips under a jab.
Wightman turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Wightman feints and then cracks Lister's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Lister down.
Lister throws a leg kick but Wightman checks it.

Wightman rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Lister moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

and Wightman counters with an outside leg kick.

Wightman lands with a hook. Lister tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Lister motions for Wightman to come forward. Lister throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Wightman jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Wightman is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Lister had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Lister takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Lister is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.
Wightman feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Lister's calf.
Wightman uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Lister.

Lister looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Lister lands a nice leg kick that just misses Wightman's sensitive parts.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Lister looks to throw the jab but Wightman is out of range.

Lister seems to have got his legs back now.
Lister is breathing heavily.
Lister takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Wightman closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Lister did well to prevent Wightman getting side control.
