Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kimo Ovaska (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sioux Sie (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Ovaska might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Big Balls by AC/DC. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 16 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sioux Sie!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Ivan Kurochkin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ovaska takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Sie walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Sie throws a shot from downtown. Ovaska moves away and avoids it.
Sie moves away from the strike by Ovaska.
And Sie tries to counter it with a takedown but Ovaska pushes his down on his head and steps out.
Ovaska lands a jab to the head.
Ovaska throws a good cross that connects.
Sie moves out of range of the strikes.
Ovaska throws out a leg kick but Sie moves out of range and Ovaska only half commits.

Sie tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Ovaska is able to avoid easily.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Ovaska has the hooks in. Sie is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted.

Ovaska slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.

Sie throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Ovaska tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Sie is in Ovaska's guard.

That kick from Ovaska tenderised Sie's leg. Sie is trying to keep his angry face on.
Ovaska fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Sie looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Ovaska misses the body punch
and Sie counters with a series of strikes. Ovaska will be more careful next time no doubt.
Ovaska misses with a shot to the body
and Sie connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Sie stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Sie throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Ovaska.
Ovaska digs a good hook to Sie's body.

letting Ovaska counter with a right hand.
Sie bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.

Sie throws a nice outside leg kick.
Sie takes one on the button.
Ovaska throws a front kick aimed at Sie's knee but Sie avoids it well.
Sie is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.
Kimo Ovaska is winning the standup battle so far.
Ovaska motions for Sie to come forward. Ovaska throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Sie uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ovaska.
Sie drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Ovaska defends it well.

Sie closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Ovaska did well to prevent Sie getting side control.

Sie is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed Ovaska to slip a leg under and get back to full guard.

Sie drops his hands momentarily and Ovaska takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
