Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mario Palmer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Stark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stark has chosen Sail Alowanation as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stark swats away the attempt to clinch by Palmer.
Stark has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Palmer is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Stark looks to land a left hand but Palmer moved out of range nicely.

Palmer forces Stark back against the cage and clinches.
Palmer tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Palmer lands an elbow inside.

It looks like Tony Stark has been cut.
A knee to the head by Palmer.

Stark escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Stark throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
It looked like Palmer was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.
Tony Stark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Palmer is looking to clinch but Stark is avoiding it.
Stark misses with a hook.
The crowd cheers as Stark lands an impressive looking overhand right. Palmer doesn't seem phased though.

It looks like Mario Palmer has been cut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palmer uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Stark.
Stark connects with a body shot.
Stark throws a one two combo.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Stark scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Palmer is breathing heavily.
Palmer avoids a punch combination nicely.

Palmer is looking to clinch.

Stark lands a left and a right that send Palmer crashing to the mat, dazed. Stark thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Oh Palmer is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Stark fakes the body blow, causing Palmer to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Palmer goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!

Tony Stark is the new light heavyweight champion!
After the fight, Tony Stark was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
