Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricky Slade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remarcus Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jones comes into a darkened arena with his song building. CNN-Yall dont wanna fuck with us kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ricky Slade!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Remarcus Jones!
The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Joseph Jones and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jones swats away the attempt to clinch by Slade.
Slade is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Slade has his takedown stuffed
and Jones counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Jones misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

Jones clinches up against the cage.
Slade manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Slade tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Jones jumps guard and drags Slade to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.

Jones escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Slade gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.

Jones manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Jones effectively controlling the action here.

Jones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Slade shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Jones but Jones pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Slade. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Jones closes the distance and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Jones manages to break the clinch.
Slade lands a jab to Jones's midsection.
Slade closes this distance looking for a takedown but Jones circles away.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Slade seems unphased.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Slade is defended easily by Jones.
The crowd cheers as Jones lands an impressive looking overhand right. Slade doesn't seem phased though.
Slade lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Jones circles away quickly and effectively.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Slade drives through with a takedown into Jones's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Jones pushes Slade off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there.

Slade misses with a takedown attempt - Jones sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Slade is breathing heavily.
Jones has a takedown stuffed.

Slade tries to keep at a distance but Jones has taken the fight into the clinch.
Slade wants to stall.

Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.

Jones takes the fight into the clinch.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Jones has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Slade clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Slade is looking to stand back up. He's having to work hard to escape but eventually he manages it.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Slade dives in and grabs Jones's left leg, looking for a takedown. Jones pushes down on Slade's head and hops out.

Jones looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
Jones seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Remarcus Jones dominated that round.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


Jones closes this distance looking for a takedown but Slade circles away.
Ricky Slade is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Slade goes for a double leg but Jones avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jones continues to drive forward.
Slade thows a leg kick but Jones checks it

and Jones holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.

Jones pulls guard effortlessly.
Jones has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Slade looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Jones stands and steps away. Slade gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Slade tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Jones swivels and escapes.
Jones feints a counter leg kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Slade with a body punch. A glancing blow.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Slade.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ricky Slade. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Jones darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Slade wants to stand back up but Jones manages to pass into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Jones decides to stand back up.

Jones moves into the clinch.

Jones gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
Jones is pushing down on Slade's leg trying to pass to half guard. Slade is fighting to maintain full guard but Jones has managed to sneak the leg through.

Jones works his way into full mount!
Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

Jones swings around for an armbar and he's got it! Wow, that came out of nowhere! What a finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Remarcus Jones!
In his post fight interview, Remarcus Jones started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
