Klewis comes to the cage accompanied by Black. Georgiy Karakhanyan will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Georgiy Karakhanyan!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karakhanyan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Klewis dives in for a single leg takedown but Karakhanyan sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Karakhanyan appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick.
Klewis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Karakhanyan sprawls well. Karakhanyan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Klewis gets slowly back to his feet.
Karakhanyan fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Klewis has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Karakhanyan throws a head kick that misses.

Klewis shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Klewis showed some decent athleticism there.
Karakhanyan has hold of Klewis's hands but Klewis slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Klewis is nestled in close to Karakhanyan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Klewis has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
