Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sergei Kaspov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Fenix (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good exchange - Fenix coming out on top.
Fenix ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kaspov moves away.
Kaspov throws a jab when Fenix was well out of range.
Kaspov looks for a takedown but Fenix sprawls well.

The fighters circling - Fenix throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Fenix stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.

Fenix closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Kaspov to the mat! Kaspov manages to get full guard.

Kaspov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
A nice leg kick lands there from Fenix.
Kaspov wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Kaspov walks into a straight right hand from Fenix.
Kaspov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Fenix is refusing to be controlled, as Kaspov sits in half guard.
Fenix tries to get to full guard but Kaspov has control of the leg.

Kaspov thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Fenix's head.

Fenix keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

Kaspov changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Fenix looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
