The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Good leg kick by Murphy there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
McGlutojajca closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Murphy did well to prevent McGlutojajca getting side control.
Murphy is not content to let McGlutojajca control the position.

McGlutojajca is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

McGlutojajca has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Murphy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Murphy looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Murphy is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McGlutojajca defends it well.
McGlutojajca is looking for a sweep. Murphy is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Murphy is stalling here. McGlutojajca is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Murphy seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and McGlutojajca has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Moszna McGlutojajca overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Murphy has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. McGlutojajca doesn't defend quickly enough and Murphy has managed to lock this one up! Can McGlutojajca escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Murphy on a fantastic submission victory.
