Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Beast Boy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jorge Oviedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oviedo is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Tiesto - Adagio for Strings. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jorge Oviedo!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, William Gold and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Boy pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Boy scores with a body shot.
Boy clinches up with Oviedo and pushes him back against the cage.
Boy landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Oviedo looks winded!
Boy unloads a knee to the mid-section. Oviedo lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh.

It looks like Jorge Oviedo has been cut.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Oviedo has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Boy has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Oviedo - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Boy, and another! Oviedo is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
