Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Tomas Morato!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brett Sinclair!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Atkins and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morato goes for a double leg but Sinclair avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Sinclair continues to drive forward.
Morato takes one to the side of the head.
Sinclair throws a body punch but Morato moves out of range.
Morato misses with a body punch
and Sinclair counters with a right hand to the body.

Morato drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.

Sinclair manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Morato avoids a punch combination nicely.
Morato has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Nonstop Intensity in the buildup to the fight.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Sinclair looks to land a combination but Morato avoids it well.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sinclair. Morato does a little dance to reset his feet.
Sinclair wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Morato fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Sinclair fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Morato, pushing him back against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Morato is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Sinclair pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tomas Morato. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Morato has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sinclair uses from the top position.
Sinclair advances position into side control!

Sinclair is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Morato is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Morato is not content to let Sinclair control the position.

Sinclair has hold of Morato's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Morato seems comfortable defending it but Sinclair has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Morato is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Morato is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Sinclair couldn't care less - he's delighted!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Brett Sinclair!
Brett Sinclair really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Voodoo Nutrition logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
