Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jackson Matthews (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unstable Roark (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Roark's choice of entrance music: Cult of personality. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jackson Matthews!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Unstable Roark!
The judges for this bout are Lou da Vinci, Reed Andrews and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Matthews takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Matthews looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Unstable Roark seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Roark turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Matthews will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Matthews is hobbling a little on that front leg after taking quite a few leg kicks so far in this fight.

Matthews takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Roark's jab looks to have found its range, popping Matthews under the eye.
Matthews tries to bum rush Roark with a series of wild strikes but Roark uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

Matthews shoots in for a takedown but Roark shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
The fighters circle, before Roark throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Matthews's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Roark lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:51 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Unstable Roark!
In his post fight interview, Unstable Roark started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
