Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jesse Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Oliver Stoned (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stoned has chosen Dr. Dre - The Watcher as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 16 - 2, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jesse Bashor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Oliver Stoned! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stoned looks to land a body kick but Bashor moved away. Stoned shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down. A momentary lapse in concentration from Stoned enables Bashor to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stoned manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bashor in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stoned bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bashor's guard.
Bashor looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Stoned has picked Bashor up and slammed him! Bashor can't keep hold of the triangle and Stoned manages to pass to side control! Bashor is looking to regain half guard here but Stoned keeps moving and retains side control. Stoned is looking to take a break and control but Bashor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Bashor takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bashor regains half guard. Bashor is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Ground and pound from Stoned. Bashor makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Bashor.
That's one minute gone in the round. Stoned cracks Bashor with a solid left hand. Stoned distracts Bashor with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Stoned passes Bashor's left leg - he's now in half guard. Stoned is trying to control. Bashor wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stoned seems to be looking for submissions.

Stoned seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Stoned working Bashor over with strikes. Bashor has guillotine here! Stoned thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Bashor prevents Stoned from moving into mount. Bashor is looking for a sweep. Bashor taking a bit of punishment here - Stoned scoring with strikes. Stoned controlling the position from side mount. Bashor regains half guard. Bashor is pressing down on Stoned's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Stoned pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bashor is keeping the position for now. Bashor working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Stoned has passed into half guard!
Stoned performing his best blanket impression for a moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stoned looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bashor actively working from the bottom here. Stoned is nestled in close to Bashor, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Stoned wants to lay and pray for a moment but Bashor keeps working. Stoned is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Stoned is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bashor is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Stoned pulls his head out easily. Bashor slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bashor is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Stoned looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Stoned! Bashor tries to bench press Stoned off him but Stoned keeps the position. Stoned has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Stoned moves into full mount! Bashor is trying desperately to improve position. Stoned pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bashor tries to get back to half guard but can't. Stoned breaks from Bashor's wrist control and lands an elbow. Bashor keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Stoned is in the full mount, landing strikes. Bashor manages to regain half guard. Good work. Stoned seems to be working for a kimura but Bashor defends the submission attempt. Stoned perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Bashor manages to get to full guard.

Bashor isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Stoned stacks Bashor on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Stoned! Stoned wants to control but Bashor is keeping him busy. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Stoned controlling the position. Stoned is looking to take a break and control but Bashor is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Stoned throws out a loose jab but Bashor uses good head movement to avoid it. Stoned misses with a hook. Bashor ducked under it nicely. Stoned lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Bashor moves out of range of the body kick. Stoned gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Bashor to score an easy takedown into full guard. Stoned is trying to control the position but Bashor postures up. Bashor postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Stoned is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Bashor, into his guard. Bashor has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Stoned is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Bashor. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bashor takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Stoned is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Bashor defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined. Bashor tries to break free.
Oliver Stoned is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. What can Bashor do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Jesse Bashor has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Stoned struggling to keep hold of the position.

Let's hope that Stoned has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

And that's the end of the fight! Oliver Stoned comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Stoned has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
