Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Henrique Dias (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mauricio Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Henrique Dias!
The judges for this bout are Matheus Silva, Emerson Jorge and Paulo Santos.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Allen closes the distance and clinches.

Dias is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Allen slips a jab and a cross from Dias.

Allen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Allen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Mauricio Allen overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Mauricio Allen.
I think Dias has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
