Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Soza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harry Walker told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Raphael Soza! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Harry Walker ! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Micheangelo Fripello and Josh West.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice defenses there by Walker . Walker 's coach down at Hilo Fight lab was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Walker 's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Walker misses with a double jab.
Walker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Soza avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Walker stuns Soza with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Walker connects with a crisp jab. Walker throws a series of punches but Soza avoids them all with ease. An attempted straight right counter from Soza misses the target. Decent striking displayed by Soza there. Walker misses the shot to the body. Nice cross by Walker . Walker moves away from the strike by Soza. Walker swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Soza counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! A punch combination from Walker misses. Soza swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. The fight stays on the outside here - Walker looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Soza misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walker moves away from the strike by Soza. Soza takes a swing at Walker 's ribcage but misses. Soza throws a lazy uppercut
and Walker counters with a one-two to the body. Soza looks to score with a jab to the body but Walker is just out of range. Walker fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Walker looks to land a combination but Soza avoids it well. Walker throws a right and a left that Soza avoids nicely. Walker looks winded! Soza throws a jab when Walker was well out of range. Walker throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Soza counters with a single leg into guard. Walker didn't expect that. Soza showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Walker avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soza sitting in guard here, content to control. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Soza has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Walker pushes Soza off and gets back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walker misses with a takedown attempt and Walker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Walker misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Harry Walker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Soza is looking to counter punch. Walker misses with a lunging right hand
and Soza counters with a lovely straight right hand! Walker pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Walker on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Soza goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Soza lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Walker gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Soza throws a right hand that Walker ducks under and follows up with a left that Walker also avoids with ease. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Soza throws a shot from downtown. Walker moves away and avoids it. Walker ducks under a wild hook from Soza. Walker tries to bum rush Soza with a series of wild strikes but Soza uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Soza swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Soza cracks Walker with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Soza throws a hook but Walker blocks it. Walker fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Raphael Soza has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Harry Walker . Soza lands a really nice looking cross but Walker seems unphased.
Soza swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Walker throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Soza. Soza jabbing away but nothing is landing. Soza looks to land a left hand but Walker moved out of range nicely. Soza throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Good exchange - Soza coming out on top. A big left from Soza misses. Walker will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
It looked like Soza wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Walker defending well as Soza loads up on a big left hand. Danga de danga de dang - Soza scores with a four punch combination! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Raphael Soza dominated that round. That's time! Soza's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Soza lands a jab to the nose. Walker looks to score with a jab to the body but Soza is just out of range. Walker throws a right and a left that Soza avoids nicely. Walker ducks under a wild hook from Soza. A left and a right from Walker both land. Nice combination. Walker swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Soza dives in for a single leg takedown but Walker sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Soza catches Walker with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! Soza throws a good cross that connects.
Soza scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Walker is rocked! Walker gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Soza gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Walker is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:46 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raphael Soza!
