Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Alexander Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Kuznetsov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kuznetsov has chosen Siberia - Cold winter night whispers as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Alexander Emelianenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
10 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Ivan Kuznetsov! The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Emelianenko swings away with a body shot that misses
and Kuznetsov counters with a left to the body. Kuznetsov throws a series of punches but Emelianenko avoids them all with ease. Emelianenko displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Kuznetsov throws out the jab. Kuznetsov misses with an uppercut. Emelianenko saw that one coming. Kuznetsov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kuznetsov lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Emelianenko has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Super SmashBros. in the buildup to the fight. Emelianenko walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Emelianenko gets a takedown into half guard. Kuznetsov trying to control but Emelianenko postures up.
Emelianenko is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
This has been an exciting period of action! Emelianenko looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Emelianenko is trying to work for a kimura but Kuznetsov is defending well.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kuznetsov wants to control but Emelianenko is keeping busy and won't allow it. Emelianenko is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Kuznetsov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Emelianenko. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Emelianenko is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kuznetsov is just riding it out for now. Emelianenko eventually gives up the hold. Emelianenko throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Kuznetsov is trying to maintain the position but Emelianenko is very close to passing his half guard. Emelianenko is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
Kuznetsov has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Emelianenko is working away from the top position though. Emelianenko passes the guard and advances to mount! Kuznetsov tries to lock up and control but Emelianenko gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away. Emelianenko is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Emelianenko extends the arm and Kuznetsov is forced to tap!
