Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Aslan Taisumov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Anthony Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Taisumov comes into the arena with My World- Kid Cudi blaring out of the sound system. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
14 - 10 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Aslan Taisumov! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
14 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Anthony Pettis! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Valeri Chadov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Pettis misses with a double jab.
No joy there for Pettis, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Taisumov went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Pettis tests Taisumov's chin there with a solid looking shot. Pettis lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Taisumov seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Pettis scores to the head and body with a nice combination! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taisumov throws a one two combo.

letting Pettis counter with a right hand. A punch combination from Pettis misses. A telegraphed right hand from Pettis misses the target. Pettis throws a jab but it's blocked by Taisumov. Pettis moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. A combination from Pettis does no damage. Pettis throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A nice combination there by Pettis.

Anthony Pettis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pettis swinging wildly here.

Pettis unleashes a big counter combination but Taisumov bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Pettis throws a right and a left that both miss. Pettis rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Taisumov moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Pettis takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Taisumov fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Pettis manages to avoid it.

and Taisumov counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Pettis lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Pettis will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Taisumov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Pettis throws out the jab. Pettis looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pettis throws a series of punches but Taisumov moves out of range. Taisumov lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pettis circles away quickly and effectively. Pettis throws an overhand right that lands on Taisumov's shoulder, as Taisumov tries to avoid the shot. As Pettis looks to move away, Taisumov throws a big counter combo bu Pettis just gets out of the way. Pettis misses the jab. Pettis throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Taisumov throws out a loose jab but Pettis uses good head movement to avoid it. Taisumov throws a nice looking combination but Pettis bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Pettis swinging wildly here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Anthony Pettis dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Anthony Pettis has been cut. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Taisumov has cracked Pettis with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Taisumov lands another huge swinging hook and Pettis tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Pettis, before Taisumov can land any more shots!
