The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrok is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Hanson.

Hanson gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Lothbrok to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Hanson kicks Lothbrok off and gets to his feet.
Hanson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Lothbrok manages to avoid it.

Hanson moves into the clinch successfully.
Hanson wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Hanson breaks the clinch.

Lothbrok shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lothbrok is looking to advance position but Hanson won't allow it.
Hanson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lothbrok lands a nice short elbow.

Lothbrok is looking for a kimura but Hanson is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Lothbrok to get the leverage.
Lothbrok blocks the strikes from Hanson.

Lothbrok takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Oh Hanson is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Lothbrok works his foot free and advances to mount.
A big strike lands for Lothbrok! That's really hurt Hanson and he's turned his back - Lothbrok keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Lothbrok jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
