Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dwayne Frederick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Gray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gray has chosen Real American as his entrance music. John Gray will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dwayne Frederick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Gray! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Gwen Towbar and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Frederick misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Gray is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch. John Gray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Gray connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Gray connects with a high kick.
It looks like Dwayne Frederick has been cut. Gray has closed the distance and engaged Frederick in a clinch.
Frederick tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Dwayne Frederick. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Frederick misses with a body punch.

Frederick is fighting off a takedown attempt but Gray is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Frederick to the mat. Frederick regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Frederick has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gray can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Gray content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. That's two minutes gone in the round. Gray scoring with punches to the head and body. Frederick might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Gray is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Gray is looking to stand up but Frederick won't let him. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Gray accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Frederick is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. Gray working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound. Gray would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Frederick is pulling down on Gray's head to control his posture. Gray postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Gray has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Gray wanted to stand there but Frederick had control of the position. Gray working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Frederick's head.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Gray takes the fight into the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Gray lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Gray looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Frederick looking for submissions off his back. Frederick is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Gray scores with a couple of nice shots. Ground and pound from Gray. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Gray is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Gray slips a nice elbow through Frederick's hands, connecting with Frederick's forehead. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
John Gray dominated that round. The cut man is working on Dwayne Frederick's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Gray avoids a punch combination nicely.

Gray tries to free his leg and advance position but Frederick is retaining full guard. Gray with a nice head shot there. Frederick trying to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gray works over Frederick with some ground and pound from guard. Frederick really is a fat lump. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Gray chips away with some ground and pound.

Gray keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Frederick's head. Oh Frederick is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Gray loads up on a big left hand. Frederick felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Gray looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Frederick can't hide his disappointment, as Gray celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). John Gray! Post fight, John Gray stared into the camera and said 'Let me tell you something brother,this is my first victory in my Mixed Martial Arts career brother and i will keep fighting for the United States of American brother!'.
