Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Janno Gibbs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wolfgang Becker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gibbs's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Apocalypse Please. Becker is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Mr Boombastic. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Topper Green, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Becker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gibbs tries to avoid it but Becker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gibbs to the ground. Gibbs escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gibbs is looking to counter punch.
Becker cracks Gibbs with an open hand slap.

Gibbs closes the distance and clinches.

Becker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Becker connects with a nice looking jab.
Becker's coach down at Fokai Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Becker's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Gibbs is looking to clinch but Becker is avoiding it.
Becker is trying hard to land a takedown here. Gibbs sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Gibbs throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Gibbs rushes Becker and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Gibbs lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Becker backwards.

Gibbs pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Gibbs misses with the combination.

Becker fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Gibbs sprawls well initially but Becker persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Becker winds up and cracks Gibbs with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Gibbs has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Becker is on him like a limpet, forcing Gibbs back against the cage.
Becker wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Becker has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Gibbs clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
Gibbs is covering up but some of the strikes from Becker are getting through and doing damage.
Gibbs wants to control his opponent's hands but Becker gets his hands free.
Gibbs is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet.
Gibbs tries to escape the position.
Gibbs is working hard here to advance position.
Becker has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Gibbs rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Becker is pressing down on Gibbs's thigh, looking to free his foot. Gibbs is holding on for now.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Gibbs on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

Becker stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Gibbs swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Becker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Gibbs wants to stand up but Becker is controlling him.

Gibbs is rocked!
Becker loads up on a big left hand. Gibbs felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Becker looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Gibbs can't hide his disappointment, as Becker celebrates the victory.
