Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Roman Yakimyuk (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazunori Ishii (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ishii has chosen Imagine Dragons - Radioactive as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
23 - 15 - 2, fighting out of Sydney, Roman Yakimyuk!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kazunori Ishii!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Damien Edna and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yakimyuk falls off balance throwing a combination
and Ishii counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Ishii cracks Yakimyuk with a right hand to the side of the head.
Yakimyuk is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ishii's half guard.
Ishii is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Yakimyuk drops an elbow to the side of Ishii's head.
Ishii felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Yakimyuk takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

We've been hearing that Yakimyuk has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Ishii feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Yakimyuk sprawling to the canvas! Yakimyuk rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Ishii finish him?!
