And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mongol Budlung!
The judges for this bout are Darius Henderson, Ron Honeybunn and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A right-left combo lands from Suckerpunch.


It looks like Mongol Budlung has been cut.
Suckerpunch throws a series of punches but Budlung avoids them all with ease.
Budlung tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.

Suckerpunch fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Budlung, pushing him back against the cage.
Budlung changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Suckerpunch fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Ricki Suckerpunch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Budlung is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Suckerpunch tries a low kick but Budlung avoids it.

Budlung feints and as Suckerpunch raises his hands in defense, Budlung changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Suckerpunch working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Budlung.
Budlung lands a couple of digs.
Budlung makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
Budlung throwing strikes but missing.
Budlung is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Budlung's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Budlung is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Budlung working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Budlung postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Budlung trying to control but Suckerpunch is working from the bottom.
Budlung is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.
Budlung stops Suckerpunch from standing up.
Suckerpunch knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Budlung on the ground.
Budlung postures up and lands a big shot to Suckerpunch's brow.
Budlung chips away with some ground and pound.
Budlung in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Budlung distracts Suckerpunch with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Budlung postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head.
Suckerpunch wants to get back to his feet but Budlung is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Budlung lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Budlung's corner. There ya go! There ya go!
Budlung lands a couple of digs.
Budlung connects with a couple of short punches.
Budlung stops Suckerpunch from standing up.
Budlung working some strikes from top position.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Suckerpunch keeping moving, preventing Budlung from controlling successfully.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mongol Budlung dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Mongol Budlung's cut.
That's time! Suckerpunch's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Suckerpunch stuffs the takedown.
Budlung shoots in looking for a takedown but Suckerpunch manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Budlung's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
It looked like Suckerpunch was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit.

Suckerpunch feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Suckerpunch is looking to stand up but Budlung won't let him.
Budlung is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Budlung is nestled in close to Suckerpunch, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Budlung takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Nice strikes from Budlung there.


Suckerpunch is rocked!
Budlung lands a big elbow - Suckerpunch is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Budlung!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:58 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mongol Budlung!
Mongol Budlung really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Australian Xtreme Elite Supplements 160Q logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
