Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Al Davis!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Nishu Dere!
The judges for this bout are Santiago Holmes, Michael Johnstone and Bart Greer.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dere shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like Dere is going to stand back up.
Dere looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Dere is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Davis is staying active underneath Dere, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Davis wants to sweep but Dere has passed to side control!
Davis regains half guard, as Dere was trying to land strikes.
Dere seems to be working for a kimura but Davis defends the submission attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Davis actively working from the bottom here.
Davis moves into full guard.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Davis is on top in guard.
Dere keeping moving, preventing Davis from controlling successfully.

Dere is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Dere trying to keep a closed guard but Davis is proving a slippery customer.
Davis is pushing down on Dere's leg trying to pass to half guard. Dere is fighting to maintain full guard but Davis has managed to sneak the leg through.
Dere is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Davis is controlling the pace.
Davis moves into full mount! Dere won't be happy about that!
Dere looks winded!

Davis looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Dere is desperately trying to improve his position but Davis has a good base and remains in mount.
Davis takes Dere's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Dere is in trouble.
Dere really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Davis. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Dere rolls, trying to escape but Davis keeps control of the position.
Davis has the hooks in. Dere is starting to panic. He's trying to push off one of the legs but he's left his neck open to attack. Davis passes his arm under Dere's neck and tightens up a rear naked choke! This one is surely all over! Yes, Dere taps!
