The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Marelli bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Sharp sneaks out the side door and pushes Marelli away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Marelli scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Sharp will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Sharp shoots for a takedown but Marelli saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Marelli fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Sharp sprawls well initially but Marelli persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

Sharp is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Marelli's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Marelli's back!
