Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Cody Garbrandt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Doyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Cody Garbrandt!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Noel Doyle!
The judges for this bout are Peter Branson, Sandra Marshall and David Hoff.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garbrandt fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Doyle is out of range.
Doyle forces Garbrandt back against the cage and clinches.
Doyle decides to pull guard.
Garbrandt trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Doyle trying to strike off his back.
Doyle is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Garbrandt is aware though and is defending well.
Doyle has momentary wrist control but Garbrandt slips an elbow through the middle.
Garbrandt has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Garbrandt slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Doyle is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Doyle keeping full guard, as Garbrandt tries to pass.
Garbrandt wants to control from the top but Doyle keeps moving.
Doyle is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Garbrandt stopping the sweep attempt from Doyle.
Garbrandt decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Doyle keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Doyle tries to counter by closing the distance.
Garbrandt throws a right and a left that both miss.
Doyle appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.
A slapping leg kick lands for Doyle.
Garbrandt pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Garbrandt misses with a few strikes there.
Garbrandt has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad The Island in the buildup to the fight.
Doyle fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Garbrandt avoids it really well and circles away.
Doyle tries to close the distance and clinch but Garbrandt swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Garbrandt pivots, looking for a leg kick but Doyle is out of range and Garbrandt settles back down.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Garbrandt clinches.
Garbrandt takes a knee right on the jaw!
Doyle breaks the clinch.
Garbrandt throws a series of strikes that have Doyle backpedaling.
It looks like Noel Doyle has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Doyle fails in his attempt to clinch.
Doyle looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Doyle avoids a punch combination nicely.
Doyle darts in looking for a takedown but Garbrandt gets double underhooks and turns Doyle into the cage.
Garbrandt lands a body shot.
Garbrandt gets a clinch.
Doyle is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Garbrandt is defending well for now.
Garbrandt fails to pull guard.
Doyle throws a knee to the head but misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Doyle goes for a takedown attempt but Garbrandt pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Cody Garbrandt has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Noel Doyle.
Garbrandt throws the kick towards the body but Doyle avoids it.
Garbrandt feints a jab promting Doyle to slip. Garbrandt then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Doyle slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Doyle tries to clinch but Garbrandt moves away
and Doyle takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Doyle lands with a thumping leg kick.
Doyle has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Doyle is rocked!
Garbrandt circles away from the clinch attempt.
Doyle is still on wobbly legs! Can Garbrandt finish him?
Cody Garbrandt seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Doyle get stunned by a cross and takes another one on the button. Doyle stumbles backwards and tries to bounce back off the cage but Garbrandt runs in and jumps on him with a leaping lead hook that puts him out! Wow, that was highlight reel stuff! Awesome finish!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Cody Garbrandt!
