Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between DJ Deair (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DJ Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DJ Deair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, DJ Shaw! The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, George Francis and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deair gets caught flat footed, as Shaw shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Shaw must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Shaw postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Deair looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Shaw is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Deair working a defensive guard here.
Deair had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Shaw defends it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Shaw stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Shaw closes the distance and clinches. Shaw should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Shaw will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Deair up against the cage. Shaw lands a nice shot to the body. Shaw connects with a nasty looking knee right to Deair's face.
Shaw working some nice short punches in the clinch. Deair tries for a takedown but Shaw manages to get underhooks.
Shaw has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Deair avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Deair looking for a takedown. Shaw jumps guard but Deair turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Deair tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Shaw avoids it. Shaw pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Deair fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for DJ Deair. That's going to take a lot out of him. Deair is breathing heavily. Shaw closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Deair did well to prevent Shaw getting side control. Ground and pound from Shaw. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Deair taking some punishment here, with Shaw in his half guard. Shaw controlling the action here.

Shaw controlling the action here. Shaw is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Deair is looking to control Shaw's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Deair avoid being mounted? Shaw looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Shaw not doing much here.

That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Shaw working the head and body with strikes. Deair has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Shaw is working away from the top position though. Deair is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control. Shaw gets to his feet - back to striking we go! The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Shaw darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
DJ Shaw dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Shaw gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Deair taking a breather. Deair is trying to drag Shaw to the mat but Shaw just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Shaw manages to pull guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Shaw wants to hit a switch here but Deair passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Shaw there! Deair lands a couple of good shots and Shaw has given up his back, trying to escape the position!
That's one minute gone in the round. Deair working for the choke. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Shaw tries to roll but Deair sticks to his back.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Deair missing with punches from the back. Shaw tries to break free.
Shaw keeps trying to improve his position. Shaw trying to control the position but Deair manages to sink in the hooks. Shaw is defending well here and trying to improve his position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Deair avoiding Shaw 's attempts to control his hands. Shaw tries to escape but Deair has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Shaw trying to control the action but Deair just sinks the hooks in. Shaw is trying to break free.
Shaw breaks Deair's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shaw is looking to pass into half guard but Deair pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Deair is in guard. Deair got a little sloppy there for a moment and Shaw has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Deair has managed to get both his arms back between Shaw's legs - danger averted. Shaw tries to land a sweep but no joy. Shaw has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Deair can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Deair trying to control the position from guard on top but Shaw is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Shaw is adopting a defensive guard. Deair avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Shaw wants to sweep but no luck. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Deair trying to control but Shaw is working from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but DJ Shaw will probably get the nod - 10:9. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Shaw closes the distance and clinches. Shaw has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Deair uses from the top position. Deair passes Shaw's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Deair works his foot free and advances to mount. Shaw can't escape the position.

Shaw holds on for dear life. Deair thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage. Deair trying to control but Shaw is having none of it. Shaw is working to get back to half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Deair tries to control but Shaw wriggling away. Shaw wants to use the cage to get back to his feet here.
Shaw tries to hold on but Deair postures up. Shaw doing his best to control the position. Can he escape? Shaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deair. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Shaw is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. DJ Shaw has got the better of the ground game so far. Shaw is wriggling around trying to escape.

And that's the end of the fight! DJ Deair showed his dominance in that final round. Well Shaw has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
