The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Alves misses with a kick to the body.
Flores misses with a takedown attempt
and Alves counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Alves fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Michael Alves seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Alves cracks Flores with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Flores looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Alves finish him?

It looks like Larry Flores has been cut.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Alves lands a right hook to the body.
Flores shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Alves as he jumps to the side.
Alves cracks Flores with a hook to the temple - Flores is on wobbly legs here! Alves swarms him with hook after hook, landing with each one! Flores falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Alves wins by TKO!

Michael Alves was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
