Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Johnathan Kimble (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hawaii Oh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johnathan Kimble could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Hawaii Oh's chin.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Hawaii Oh! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Roger Salmon and Chris Saunders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Oh looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Oh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kimble sees it coming and defends easily. Oh throwing shots but Kimble is blocking nicely. Oh wants to control but Kimble is keeping him busy. Oh is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Kimble sees it coming and defends easily. Oh is trying to work for a kimura but Kimble is defending well.
Kimble has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Oh is working away from the top position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oh stalling away here and it's allowed Kimble to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard. Oh slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kimble is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Oh trying to pass the guard but Kimble defending well. That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Oh pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Kimble is keeping the position for now. The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Oh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kimble counters with a nice uppercut. Kimble really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Kimble fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Oh gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kimble counters with a straight right hand.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oh shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kimble sprawls well. Kimble wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Oh gets slowly back to his feet. Johnathan Kimble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hawaii Oh. Kimble moves out of range as Oh throws a body kick.
Oh closes the distance and clinches up with Kimble, looking for a takedown. Oh pushes Kimble against the cage but Kimble circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kimble gets caught flat footed, as Oh shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Kimble is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Oh is looking to pass into half guard but Kimble pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Kimble is in guard. Oh has his foot on Kimble's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kimble works his way back into a safe position though. Oh has a closed guard, preventing Kimble from standing up. Oh looking for a guillotine here but Kimble defends easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kimble got a little sloppy there for a moment and Oh has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Kimble has managed to get both his arms back between Oh's legs - danger averted. Kimble has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Oh is proving hard to escape from. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oh is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Oh looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Oh gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily letting Kimble counter with a right hand. Oh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Kimble is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Kimble scores with a hook to the body. Oh takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Oh shoots for a double leg takedown but Kimble sprawls well. He's pushed Oh's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Kimble connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt. A low kick from Oh misses enabling Kimble to counter with a crisp jab. Oh shoots in for a takedown but Kimble shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Johnathan Kimble has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hawaii Oh. Oh shoots in for a double leg but Kimble sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Oh throws a leg kick but Kimble checks it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oh swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Oh fails to land the takedown. Oh scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oh tries to advance to mount but can't. Kimble manages to get back to half guard. Oh is just content to waste time from the top position. Kimble takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Kimble lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.
Oh looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Kimble passes into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Kimble is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Oh wants to control but Kimble is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kimble tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Oh. Oh looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Oh is trying to control but can't.
Kimble tries to stand and escape but Oh is controlling the position. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Oh is trying to control but can't.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Oh with a poor takedown and Kimble counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Johnathan Kimble is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Oh gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kimble connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Oh fails with the takedown letting Kimble counter with a right hand. Oh doesn't succeed with the takedown and Kimble counters with a left to the body. Oh looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kimble appears to be looking for a counter takedown. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Kimble defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Oh. Kimble half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Oh misses with a lunging right hand
and Kimble counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Oh gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Kimble counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johnathan Kimble dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
Oh manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Kimble on his heels. He'll look to pass Kimble's guard now, I'm sure. Oh trying to control but Kimble is working from the bottom. Kimble has control of Oh's left arm, preventing Oh from doing any damage. Kimble is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Oh can do to turn this around? Oh advances position into side control! Kimble stops Oh from passing to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Oh goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Kimble has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Oh but great work by Kimble. Kimble wants to stand but Oh is controlling his arm.
That's one minute gone in the round. Oh is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Oh keeps trying to improve his position. Oh is trying to control Kimble's posture but Kimble avoids it. Oh looking for a sweep but Kimble has passed into full mount! Oh no!
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Oh wants to control but Kimble is having none of it. Oh is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Oh wants to hold on but Kimble pushes him away. Kimble can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Oh is looking to escape. Oh tries to lock up and control but Kimble gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Oh is squirming around, avoiding Kimble's attempts to control the action. Oh is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Oh is looking to get to half guard. Kimble is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Oh wants to get back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Oh wants to control but Kimble is having none of it. Kimble trying to control but he's not successful this time. Oh is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Oh sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Oh trying to control here.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Johnathan Kimble. I think Kimble has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
