Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeffery Keller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Little Rick! The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Alyssa Summers and Jonathan Paton.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Rick looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Rick looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rick is working for a kimura but Keller is defending it quite comfortably.
Rick is looking for a kimura but Keller is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Rick to get the leverage. Keller tries to roll over but Rick keeps him under control. Rick seems to be looking for submissions.

Keller is looking for a sweep. Rick is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Rick is working for a submission of some sort.
Rick is looking to take a break and control but Keller is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Rick trying to pass the guard but Keller defending well. Keller wants to improve his position but Rick is controlling well.
Keller really is a fat lump. Rick is working for a kimura but Keller is defending it quite comfortably.
Rick wants to lay and pray for a moment but Keller keeps working. Rick is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Keller trying to control from the bottom.
Rick is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rick prevents Keller from improving his position. Rick is working for a submission of some sort.
Keller slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Rick tries to free his leg and advance position but Keller is retaining full guard. Keller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Keller escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rick gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Keller is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Rick is controlling him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rick trying to control the position from guard on top but Keller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Rick tries to free his leg and advance position but Keller is retaining full guard. Keller tries to land a sweep but no joy. Rick pushes down on Keller's leg and manages to get into half guard. Rick looks winded! Keller gets full guard. Rick wants to control from the top but Keller keeps moving. Keller has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rick can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rick trying to control the position from guard on top but Keller is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Rick controls from within his opponent's guard. Rick trying to control but Keller is working from the bottom. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Rick looking to pass the guard. Keller keeping moving, preventing Rick from controlling successfully.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Keller gets the takedown into side control. Rick tries to get back to half guard but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Little Rick dominated that round. That's time! Keller's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Rick moves out of range as Keller throws a body kick.
Rick changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Keller looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Rick trying to control the action but Keller is working from the bottom. Keller seems a little lost for a moment, as Rick dominates the positioning. Rick tries for a kimura but Keller is defending well. Keller is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keller struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rick trying to control the position but Keller is working away. Rick moves into full mount! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rick working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Keller looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Rick! Submission of the night perhaps?
