Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Hofstadter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bastian Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ivan Hofstadter is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ivan Hofstadter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Bastian Tiger! The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hofstadter gets the takedown into side control. Tiger gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Hofstadter controlling the position easily from mount. Tiger really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hofstadter. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tiger can't escape the position.
Hofstadter controlling the pace for now. Hofstadter landing strikes, looking to finish! Hofstadter is landing with some decent strikes but Tiger is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Hofstadter landing punches. Hofstadter sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Tiger is looking to get to half guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hofstadter landing shots from mount. Tiger wants to hold on but Hofstadter pushes him away. Tiger is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Hofstadter has control of Tiger's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Tiger regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Hofstadter jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tiger manages to avoid the submission attempt. Tiger is looking for a sweep. Tiger manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu! Tiger throws a strike but Hofstadter avoids it easily and moves to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hofstadter has his foot on Tiger's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Tiger works his way back into a safe position though. Tiger must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Hofstadter looking for a guillotine here but Tiger defends easily.

Hofstadter utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Tiger trying to control the position from guard on top but Hofstadter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiger is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Hofstadter could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Tiger is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Tiger trying to control the position from guard on top but Hofstadter is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Tiger scoring with some ground and pound. Tiger throws a big elbow that misses. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Tiger loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Hofstadter looking for a guillotine here but Tiger defends easily.
Hofstadter pulls Tiger in close to prevent any damage. Hofstadter keeping moving, preventing Tiger from controlling successfully. Hofstadter controlling Tiger's posture. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Tiger is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Hofstadter dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Hofstadter jabbing away but nothing is landing. A little jabbing left from Tiger on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Tiger tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hofstadter manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Tiger tries to clinch up but Hofstadter circles away and keeps his distance. Tiger throws a hook to the side of Hofstadter's head but Hofstadter sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Hofstadter shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Hofstadter showed some decent athleticism there. Hofstadter lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Hofstadter is nestled in close to Tiger, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Tiger wants to get back to full guard. Tiger moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Hofstadter trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tiger wants to sweep here but Hofstadter controlling him for the moment. Hofstadter scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Tiger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tiger utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Hofstadter landing with the ground and pound. Hofstadter preventing the sweep. Hofstadter landing with the ground and pound. Hofstadter stands up over Tiger, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. Hofstadter won't allow Tiger to sweep him here. Hofstadter distracts Tiger with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tiger tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Hofstadter content to stall in guard here. Tiger tries to land a sweep but no joy. Tiger is trying to control the position but Hofstadter postures up. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hofstadter's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Tiger lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Hofstadter preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ivan Hofstadter overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Hofstadter looking to hit a scissor sweep but Tiger is one step ahead there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tiger postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Tiger with a flurry of punches that miss. Hofstadter pulls Tiger in to control the position. Tiger distracts Hofstadter with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Tiger throws an elbow that misses. Hofstadter uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Tiger's guard. Nice move by Hofstadter! Hofstadter passes Tiger's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Tiger is trying to control but can't.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Tiger moves into full guard.
Hofstadter trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Hofstadter wants to control from the top but Tiger keeps moving. Tiger wants to stand but Hofstadter is controlling the position. Tiger looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hofstadter is one step ahead there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Tiger keeps trying to improve his position. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Hofstadter's corner. There ya go! There ya go! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ivan Hofstadter dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Excellent takedown into side control there by Hofstadter. Hofstadter in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Hofstadter scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Tiger to see if he's OK. Hofstadter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Tiger! Hofstadter scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Tiger?
Hofstadter is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Tiger can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

That's one minute gone in the round. Hofstadter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Tiger is looking to escape. Hofstadter is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Tiger can do to turn this around? Tiger regains half guard. Tiger has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Hofstadter is working away from the top position though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Tiger is trying to get back to full guard. Hofstadter is trying for a kimura here. Tiger looks like he's in a lot of pain... and he's tapping out! Hofstadter wins by kimura!
