Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dante Eberle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yeriza Intagilokali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Dante Eberle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Yeriza Intagilokali! The judges for this bout are Josh West, Jeff Smith and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Eberle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Intagilokali's coach down at Kombat MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Intagilokali's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Eberle misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
It seemed like Intagilokali was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Eberle throws a sloppy head kick and Intagilokali moves out of range easily. Eberle scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. No joy there for Intagilokali, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Eberle tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Intagilokali throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Eberle tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Intagilokali is in Eberle's guard. Intagilokali throws a big right hand that misses. Intagilokali is stalling in the full guard. Intagilokali trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Intagilokali is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Let's hope that Intagilokali has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's one minute gone in the round. Intagilokali is in close to Eberle's body, working some short punches and elbows. Eberle being controlled here, momentarily. Eberle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Intagilokali throwing strikes but missing. We've been hearing good reports from Eberle's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today. Intagilokali trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Intagilokali is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Intagilokali looking to pass the guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Eberle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Intagilokali is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Eberle avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Intagilokali missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Intagilokali with a flurry of punches that miss. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Intagilokali works a leg free and moves into half guard. Eberle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Intagilokali on the ground. Intagilokali not throwing his punches with enough precision this time. Intagilokali is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Intagilokali has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Intagilokali missing with the ground and pound from half guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eberle manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Intagilokali keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. Intagilokali changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Eberle fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Eberle lands a head kick. Intagilokali smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Eberle is breathing heavily. Nice takedown defense from Eberle. No joy for Intagilokali on that attempt. Eberle seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance. Eberle gets caught napping as Intagilokali dives in and scores a takedown. Eberle manages to retain guard. Intagilokali connects with a couple of short punches. Intagilokali throwing strikes from guard but Eberle blocks nicely. Intagilokali throws a strike but Eberle rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top. Intagilokali thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Intagilokali pulls Eberle in to control the position. Intagilokali escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eberle gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Eberle wanted to stand there but Intagilokali had control of the position. Intagilokali is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Eberle frees his head nicely. Oh but Intagilokali has switched to an armbar! Eberle is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
