Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Russ Jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Diego Moraes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Diego Moraes is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Leandro Rodrigues, Emerson Jorge and Mauricio Rocha.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Jensen forces Moraes back against the cage and clinches.
Moraes tries to score a body lock takedown but Jensen shows good agility there to stay on his feet.

Moraes pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Jensen closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Jensen could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Moraes can't find room to land a body shot as Jensen controls the action.
Moraes wants to take the fight to the mat but Jensen manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Jensen is trying to trip Moraes. He has hold of a leg but Moraes is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Jensen persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Jensen not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Moraes escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jensen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jensen slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.

Jensen throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Moraes works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Jensen landing some decent shots from guard.

Moraes is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Jensen frees his head nicely. Oh but Moraes has switched to an armbar! Jensen is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
