Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raphael Soza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bangbang Jihaa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 2 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Bangbang Jihaa!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Josh West and Roger Salmon.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A looping hook to the body misses from Soza. Jihaa does a little dance to reset his feet.
Jihaa wants to clinch
letting Soza counter with a right hand.
Jihaa is looking to clinch.
Soza avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Soza swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.
Soza swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Jihaa tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Soza cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Jihaa moves to clinch but Soza breaks away
and Soza counters with a lovely straight right hand!
It looks like Bangbang Jihaa has been cut.
Soza misses with a straight right.
Soza uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jihaa.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jihaa throws an off balance right hand
and Soza comes in over the top with a devastating right hand! Jihaa stumbles back against the cage, looking to regain his senses but Soza is on him like rabid pit bull! Jihaa slumps to the ground under a storm of punches and this fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Raphael Soza!
