Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Allan Bates (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Deair Shaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Allan Bates! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Deair Shaw! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Viktor Lagutenko and Aleksandr Martynov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shaw moves into the clinch. Bates tries a body shot but Shaw blocks it.

Shaw fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Bates takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
It looks like Allan Bates has been cut. Shaw throws a series of punches but Bates avoids them all with ease. Bates scores with a takedown into Shaw's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Bates's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Bates has gone for a leg lock! Shaw slips out almost immediately though and dives into Bates's guard. Shaw must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bates bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shaw's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bates chips away with some ground and pound. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bates accidentally thumps the mat. Bates really is a fat lump. Shaw looks winded!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bates with a flurry of punches that miss. Bates in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Bates is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Bates cracks Shaw with a solid left hand. Bates scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Bates is working Shaw over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Bates stands up and waves to Shaw to follow him. A momentary lapse in concentration from Shaw enables Bates to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Shaw manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bates is standing up over Shaw. Shaw looks to escape but Bates dives into side control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Shaw tries to buck Bates off but Bates is having none of it. Bates has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Bates fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Shaw to the ground. Bates is now in Shaw's guard. Bates scoring with punches to the head and body.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Bates working some strikes from top position. Bates is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Shaw throws his legs up looking for a submission but Bates uses it to pass to side control.
Bates in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Shaw is working to avoid the ground and pound but Bates connects with a decent elbow. Shaw on the wrong end of some ground and pound. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Allan Bates dominated that round. The cut man is working on Allan Bates's cut. That's time! Bates's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Bates misses with a series of wild punches.
Bates feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Shaw is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Bates dives into side control.
Shaw really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bates. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Bates is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Shaw is trying to escape and Bates transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Shaw is forced to tap! Nice work there by Bates! Very nice indeed!
