Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between derek jensen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Stephen McGuiness (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). jensen's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, renegade. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are William Gold, Andrew Berry and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuiness blocks a head kick by jensen.
jensen fails with a takedown attempt.

jensen stalks McGuiness and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into McGuiness's face. McGuiness staggers backwards, shaken.

McGuiness tries to clinch but jensen is having none of it.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as jensen accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

McGuiness is looking to stand up but jensen won't let him.

jensen has hold of McGuiness's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and McGuiness manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.
McGuiness sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
jensen is trying to control the action in half guard but McGuiness is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
McGuiness makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

McGuiness drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

McGuiness looks to land a combination but jensen avoids it well.

jensen is on the wrong end of a nice combination from McGuiness.

and McGuiness counters with a single leg into guard. jensen didn't expect that.

jensen has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but McGuiness can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

McGuiness really doesn't want to stay on the ground with jensen. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Stephen McGuiness showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!
McGuiness feints and as jensen raises his hands in defense, McGuiness changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
jensen wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
jensen is looking to sinch up a triangle. McGuiness throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to jensen's body to avoid the submission. jensen has instead reached around McGuiness's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! jensen arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
