The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
De La Cruz tries for a takedown but Hoffmann circles away easily
and De La Cruz takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

It looks like Canela De La Cruz has been cut.
De La Cruz throws a one two combo.
Hoffmann throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Canela De La Cruz seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hoffmann tests De La Cruz's chin there with a solid looking shot.

Hoffmann cracks De La Cruz with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! De La Cruz looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Hoffmann finish him?
