The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lordd is looking to clinch.
Lordd bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.
Lordd fails in his attempt to clinch.
Lordd fails with an attempt to clinch.
Shorticus drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Shorticus stops Lordd from standing up.
Shorticus throws a big right hand that misses.
Lordd bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shorticus's guard.
Lordd trying to control the position from guard on top but Shorticus is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Shorticus is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Lordd gets to his feet. Shorticus looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Shorticus swats away the attempt to clinch by Lordd.
Shorticus shoots in for a takedown. Oh, that's a huge slam! Lordd is on queer street and Shorticus is pounding down on him with a barage of strikes. The ref is forced to step in and stop the fight. Great finish!
