The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Brown shoots and misses
letting Aoki counter with a right hand.

It looks like Chris Brown has been cut.
Aoki throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Brown stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Brown throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Aoki counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Brown thinking.

and Aoki counters with a nice right hand that sends Brown toppling to the canvas! Brown scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Aoki finish him?!

Chris Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Brown has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from Aoki.

Chan Sung Aoki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chris Brown.
Aoki throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
Brown is aggressively charging in as Aoki backs up avoiding any damage. Aoki tosses out a jab and Brown runs right into it face first! Brown is out cold! Aoki dropped down on all fours and is barking in Brown's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!
