Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Hare (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bill Schwartz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Peter Hare! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Bill Schwartz! The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hare misses with the combination.
And Schwartz tries to counter it with a takedown but Hare pushes his down on his head and steps out. Hare throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hare looks to land a body kick but Schwartz moved away. Hare throws a head kick that misses. Hare misses with the combination.
Hare scores with a nice strike. A jab from Schwartz finds it's way through Hare's defenses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Good work by Schwartz as he checks the leg kick. As Hare backs off Schwartz throws a huge counter combo but Hare manages to avoid it all. Hare digs a good hook to Schwartz's body.

We've been told by Hare's head coaches at Cozad MMA LA Elite that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A telegraphed right hand from Schwartz misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Hare misses with a leg kick and Schwartz counters with a shoot takedown. Hare fights it but they end up in guard. Hare manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Peter Hare is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Hare throws a right and a left that both miss. Hare throws a leg kick and Schwartz cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hare tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Schwartz changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Schwartz has his takedown stuffed and Hare counters with a two punch combo. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Schwartz misses with a straight right. Hare appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Peter Hare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Schwartz misses with a straight left. Hare misses with a body kick. Schwartz is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Nice defenses there by Schwartz.

Hare goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Schwartz changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt. Hare misses with a wild combination.
Despite the aggression on Schwartz's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. Schwartz throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Schwartz misses with a wild body shot. Hare feinted there with a counter leg kick. Hare moves out of range of the strikes. Hare moves out of range as Schwartz throws a body kick.
Hare tries to bum rush Schwartz with a series of wild strikes but Schwartz uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Schwartz scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Hare looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Hare misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Schwartz walks into a left hand. Left hook, right uppercut from Hare. Hare keeps the fight on the outside. Hare throws a jab when Schwartz was well out of range. Hare dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Schwartz on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Hare digs a good body shot into Schwartz's ribs. A jab from Schwartz misses. Some wild striking there from Hare.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hare tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Schwartz gets a takedown into half guard. Hare won't allow Schwartz to pass to mount. Schwartz prevents Hare from standing back up.
Schwartz is keen to just control but Hare is a slippery customer. Schwartz sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Hare defending well though. Schwartz seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Hare does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Schwartz trying to pass the guard but Hare defending well. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Hare dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Hare wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Schwartz tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hare manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Hare lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Both fighters circling a little - Hare finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. A solid leg kick lands there for Hare.
We've been informed that Schwartz has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Hare throws a head kick that misses. Schwartz is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Hare throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena. Hare is looking to wear down Schwartz with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hare lands a big head kick that sends Schwartz tumbling to the mat! Hare takes a step backwards and waves Schwartz back to his feet - he wants the finish! Hare is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Schwartz can do to turn this around? The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hare throws a head kick but Schwartz moves out of range.
Schwartz is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Schwartz is breathing heavily. Hare lands a big head kick that sends Schwartz to the canvas! Hare follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
