Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ack Dog (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, William Cooper! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Ack Dog! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Cooper looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Excellent takedown into side control there by Dog. Dog just content to control the position. Dog advances to full mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dog landing strikes from the mount. Dog connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Dog tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position. Dog can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cooper is looking to escape.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Dog content just to control the position here. Dog with a couple of short strikes. Dog is standing up, even though he is in mount. Dog shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Cooper but Cooper pushes him off and we're back to square one.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Cooper.
Dog shoots for a double leg takedown but Cooper sprawls well. He's pushed Dog's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Dog has Cooper up against the cage in a clinch.
Dog lands a hook to the side of the head. Dog jumps guard.
Dog is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Dog tries to land a sweep but no joy. Cooper thows a big elbow that misses. Cooper has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Dog wants to sweep here but Cooper controlling him for the moment.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Dog manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Dog controlling his opponent. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Dog cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Dog can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Cooper is looking to escape. Dog fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Dog sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ack Dog dominated that round. That's time! Cooper's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Dog closes the distance and clinches up with Cooper, looking for a takedown. Dog pushes Cooper against the cage but Cooper circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Dog tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cooper paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dog should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete. Dog throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Cooper's waist but Cooper gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Dog off to one side. Dog scores with a takedown into Cooper's guard. Cooper looking for a sweep. Not yet Cooper, not yet. Dog trying to control but Cooper is working from the bottom. Dog scoring with punches to the head and body. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Cooper looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper keeping moving, preventing Dog from controlling successfully. Dog stays in close to Cooper's body and controls the position. Cooper is looking for a triangle but Dog pushes his legs off easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Dog tries to free his leg and advance position but Cooper is retaining full guard. Dog trying to control but Cooper is working from the bottom. Dog not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Cooper is working an open guard so Dog takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Dog uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Cooper. Cooper shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Dog but Dog pushes him off and we're back to square one. Cooper has his takedown stuffed and Dog counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cooper is lucky that one didn't land flush. Cooper has his takedown stuffed and Dog counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for William Cooper. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cooper trying to control here.
Dog trying to control the action but Cooper is working from the bottom. Cooper regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Dog.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dog stopping the sweep attempt from Cooper. Cooper controlling the position. Dog showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Dog gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ack Dog showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Dog tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Cooper paws at him with a jab and circles away. Dog fails with the takedown and Cooper counters by moving into the clinch. Cooper drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Dog breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Dog shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Cooper as he jumps to the side. William Cooper is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Dog will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. William Cooper has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ack Dog. Dog misses with a takedown attempt and Cooper counters with a nice double leg into side control. Dog won't be happy with that. Cooper stands up. Cooper throws a hook to the side of Dog's head but Dog sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dog scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Dog is trying to control the action in half guard but Cooper is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Dog is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cooper defends it well. Cooper is staying active underneath Dog, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Cooper moves into full guard.
Dog is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dog won't allow Cooper to sweep him here. Dog sitting in guard, not really doing much. Dog passes Cooper's left leg - he's now in half guard. Cooper punching from the bottom.
Cooper wants to control but Dog is keeping busy.
That's three minutes gone in the round. The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Dog is looking to take a break and control but Cooper is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Dog tries to stand but his arm is trapped. William Cooper has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Cooper is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Cooper trying to control here.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Dog looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Dog working the head and body with strikes. Dog not doing much here.
Cooper tries to get to full guard but Dog has control of the leg.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to William Cooper. I think Dog has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
