Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuya Aoki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Barclay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barclay has chosen I Am The Walrus as his entrance music. Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 18 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Andy Barclay!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A solid body kick from Barclay.
Barclay just misses with a punch to the body.
Aoki moves out of range of the leg kick from Barclay.
Barclay throws a nice inside leg kick.
Aoki fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barclay looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Barclay tries to land a front kick but Aoki steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Aoki was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.
Barclay steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Aoki. That one must have hurt.
Barclay misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Aoki misses with a wild body shot.
Barclay will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Barclay just manages to avoid a counter high kick fromAoki.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

and Aoki counters with a takedown into side control.

Barclay sneaks out the side door and pushes Aoki away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Andy Barclay is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Aoki closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Barclay is looking to land body kicks.
As Barclay looks to move away, Aoki throws a big counter combo bu Barclay just gets out of the way.
Barclay throws a right and a left that Aoki avoids nicely.
Barclay throws a combination. Aoki tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Barclay turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Barclay misses with a low kick.
An inside leg kick lands from Barclay.

Barclay catches Aoki with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Aoki tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Barclay was well out of range. Poor timing from Aoki.

Barclay ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

Aoki with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Barclay to score with a decent uppercut.
Aoki throws a right and a left that Barclay avoids nicely.

Barclay cracks Aoki with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Aoki throws a body shot but no joy.

and Aoki counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Aoki postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Aoki wants to control from the top but Barclay keeps moving.
Aoki trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Barclay avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Aoki trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Aoki postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Barclay is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Aoki, into his guard.

Aoki has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Barclay doesn't defend quickly enough and Aoki has managed to lock this one up! Can Barclay escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Aoki on a fantastic submission victory.
