Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lon Dillon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ze Velaskis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Lon Dillon! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ze Velaskis! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Robert Twigg and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Velaskis scores with a takedown into Dillon's guard. Velaskis throws a big right hand that misses. Dillon is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Velaskis won't allow Dillon to pass to mount. Dillon takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Dillon really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Velaskis is not content to let Dillon control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Velaskis looks winded!
That's one minute gone in the round. Well, if Dillon is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Dillon's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Dillon wants to take a breather but Velaskis is having none of it. Dillon throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Velaskis actively working from the bottom here. Dillon looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dillon wants to take a breather but Velaskis is having none of it.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Velaskis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Dillon kicks off Velaskis and gets to his feet. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Dillon is defended easily by Velaskis. Dillon tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Velaskis defends well and Dillon ends up having to push Velaskis into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Velaskis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Dillon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Dillon tries to escape but Velaskis is in control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velaskis working the head with strikes. Dillon can't do much from the bottom here. Velaskis working the body and head with strikes. Dillon wants to control but Velaskis postures up. Dillon tries to buck Velaskis off but Velaskis is having none of it. My spies in Cozad MMA Las Vegas inform me that Velaskis has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Dillon throws Velaskis to one side and escapes! Dillon fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lon Dillon. That's going to take a lot out of him. Velaskis shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Velaskis working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Dillon avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Velaskis. Dillon gets back to full guard.
Dillon wants to sweep here but Velaskis controlling him for the moment. Velaskis working some strikes from top position. Velaskis throwing strikes but missing. The fighters are working up against the cage. Dillon manages to wriggle his way back to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Lon Dillon dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Velaskis shoots in and bounces Dillon off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Dillon manages to escape and get back to his feet.
Dillon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Velaskis keeps the fight on the outside. Velaskis shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Dillon is trying to defend but Velaskis finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Dillon is trying to stand back up but Velaskis is controlling him
Dillon manages to escape and get back to his feet! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Dillon shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Dillon was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. Velaskis can't do much from the bottom here. Dillon creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Dillon is trying to get an arm triangle but Velaskis is defending well. Velaskis tries to improve position but can't.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Dillon is looking to take a break and control but Velaskis is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Velaskis is looking for a sweep. Dillon misses with the ground and pound. Dillon trying to control the position but Velaskis is working away. Lon Dillon overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Dillon is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Velaskis is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velaskis keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Dillon is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Velaskis is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Dillon's half guard. Dillon looks like he's trying to stand up.
Velaskis thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Dillon's head. Velaskis winds up and cracks Dillon with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Dillon keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Dillon wants to control but Velaskis is keeping busy and won't allow it. Velaskis seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Dillon manages to get to full guard.
Dillon looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Velaskis is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Velaskis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Dillon pushes Velaskis off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Velaskis scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Lon Dillon will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Velaskis throwing strikes but Dillon manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Dillon controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dillon scores with a couple of short elbows. Dillon just content to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dillon trying to control the position but Velaskis is working away. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Dillon is really struggling to control Velaskis but he's trying to hold on to the position.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Dillon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Velaskis defends it nicely. Velaskis feints and as Dillon raises his hands in defense, Velaskis changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Velaskis lands a couple of digs.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Dillon manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Velaskis manages to get himself to full guard.
Velaskis keeping moving, preventing Dillon from controlling successfully. Velaskis has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Velaskis wants to sweep but no luck. Velaskis being controlled here, momentarily.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Velaskis wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Dillon is now in half guard. Dillon missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. Dillon slows the pace down in half guard. Velaskis is looking for a sweep. Dillon is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Dillon controlling the action here. Dillon will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Velaskis avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Dillon. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Velaskis is looking to improve his position.

God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dillon is trying to improve his position. Ze Velaskis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Lon Dillon is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Velaskis grinds an elbow into Dillon's temple.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ze Velaskis. I think Dillon has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
