Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jiri Necas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Niklas Ostermann (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jiri Necas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Niklas Ostermann! The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Alexandre Firmino.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Necas clinches up against the cage. Ostermann's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Necas shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Ostermann is trying to defend but Necas finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Necas lands a nice short elbow. Ostermann wants to control but Necas is keeping busy and won't allow it. Ostermann makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Ostermann. Necas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ostermann tries to land a sweep but no joy. Ostermann not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ostermann keeping full guard, as Necas tries to pass. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Necas distracts Ostermann with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Necas controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Necas wants to pass the guard but Ostermann is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Necas postures up.
Ostermann looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Necas puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Ostermann is looking for a sweep. Necas is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Necas content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Necas takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Ostermann closes the distance and pushes Necas back into the cage. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. A short uppercut from Ostermann. Necas breaks from the clinch.
Ostermann stuffs the takedown attempt from Necas. Necas gets slowly back to his feet. Necas misses with a series of wild punches.
Ostermann shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Necas but Necas pushes him off and we're back to square one. Necas is looking to counter the offense by Ostermann and move into the clinch. Ostermann fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ostermann is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Necas's half guard. Necas is trying to stand back up but Ostermann is controlling him
Necas works his way to full guard. Good work. Ostermann distracts Necas with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Necas keeping moving, preventing Ostermann from controlling successfully. Ostermann with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Necas is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ostermann is aware though and is defending well. Ostermann trying to control the position from guard on top but Necas is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Necas striking off his back but it's not causing Ostermann any problems. Ostermann would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Ostermann keeps the fight on the outside. Ostermann avoids a punch combination nicely.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Jab by Ostermann. Necas clinches up against the cage. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jiri Necas will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Ostermann misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Ostermann wants to clinch up but Necas keeps it at a distance. Necas tries for a takedown but Ostermann sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Necas throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ostermann's waist but Ostermann gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Necas off to one side. Necas shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ostermann's guard. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Ostermann holds on and takes a little breather. Necas postures up.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Necas fails with an attempt to clinch.
Ostermann lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Necas circles away quickly and effectively. Necas checks a leg kick. Ostermann shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Necas as he jumps to the side. Necas looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Necas lands a couple of digs. Necas trying to control but Ostermann is working from the bottom. Ostermann keeping full guard, as Necas tries to pass. Necas stopping the sweep attempt from Ostermann. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ostermann wants to stand but Necas is controlling the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Necas takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Necas looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Ostermann wants to counter the offense by Necas and move into the clinch position. Ostermann fails in his attempt to clinch. Necas half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. An inside leg kick lands from Necas. Ostermann closes the distance and clinches up with Necas, looking for a takedown. Ostermann pushes Necas against the cage but Necas circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Ostermann tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Necas manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Necas seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter. Jiri Necas is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Necas closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Ostermann quickly recovers to half guard. Ostermann looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Ostermann is breathing heavily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Necas seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ostermann does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Necas is figuring out what he wants to do next. Necas trying to control from half guard but Ostermann is working away. Ostermann looks like he's trying to stand up.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Necas working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jiri Necas dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Ostermann darts in looking for a takedown but Necas gets double underhooks and turns Ostermann into the cage. Necas drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Ostermann controls Necas momentarily but Necas frees himself. Ostermann bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Necas's guard. Ostermann wants to control from the top but Necas keeps moving. Ostermann looking to sit in guard and control but Necas gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Necas stopping the sweep attempt from Ostermann. Necas scoring with some ground and pound.

No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Necas pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Ostermann is keeping the position for now. Necas has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Necas wants to control from the top but Ostermann keeps moving.

That's two minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Ostermann shoots for a takedown but Necas saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jiri Necas is winning the standup battle so far. Necas closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Ostermann takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Ostermann is looking for a sweep. Necas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Ostermann controls the position for a moment. Necas working away.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Necas working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Ostermann is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Necas's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.

Ostermann looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Niklas Ostermann has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jiri Necas is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Jiri Necas has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Niklas Ostermann. Necas shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Necas was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
And that's the end of the fight! Jiri Necas showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Necas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
