The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Andersen closes this distance looking for a takedown but Lawler circles away.
Andersen looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Lawler!
Lawler tries to hold on but Andersen pushes him away.

Lawler drops Andersen with a left and a right! Oh, Andersen is hurt - Lawler dives into side control looking to finish!

Lawler decides to stand up, so the ref orders Andersen to his feet.

Nice sprawl there from Lawler as Andersen shoots in.
Lawler stuffs the takedown attempt from Andersen. Andersen gets slowly back to his feet.

Andersen wants to land a leg kick but Lawler is out of range.

Andersen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Lawler but Lawler pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Andersen closes the distance and clinches up with Lawler, looking for a takedown. Andersen pushes Lawler against the cage but Lawler circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Horrible takedown by Andersen or perhaps it was just good defense by Lawler which made him look bad.
Lawler drops Andersen with a beautiful combination! Andersen stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Lawler is looking for the KO!
Lawler scores with a sloppy right hand. Andersen should have avoided that one.
Robbie Lawler is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Andersen throws a body punch but Lawler moves out of range.
Oooh a lovely combination from Lawler sends Andersen down but not out. Lawler dives into side control looking to finish.
Oh Andersen is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Andersen prevents Lawler from moving into mount.
Andersen tries to escape but Lawler is in control.
Andersen seems to have got his legs back now.
Andersen is breathing heavily.
Lawler decides to stand back up.
Andersen tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Lawler swivels and escapes.
Lawler connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Andersen to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Lawler!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Robbie Lawler!
