Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jacques Rougeau!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, The Boxer Ii!
The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rougeau takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
Rougeau looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Boxer Ii doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
A good leg kick by Rougeau.
Boxer Ii throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rougeau attempts a counter takedown but Boxer Ii avoids it well and moves away.

Rougeau changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Boxer Ii looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rougeau works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
You can see the frustration on Boxer Ii's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
Boxer Ii really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Rougeau. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rougeau tries for a kimura but Boxer Ii is defending well.
Rougeau misses with the ground and pound.
A big shot lands for Rougeau! That's hurt Boxer Ii! Will he recover? Rougeau fires away with more strikes and the referee has to step in to stop the fight!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jacques Rougeau!
