The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Face tries for a takedown but Mir sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Mir throws a series of punches but Face moves out of range.
Mir scores with a shot to the body.
Face looks winded!
Face gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Face is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Mir advances to half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Mir in particular looking to stall.
Face has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.
