Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Park Ji Sung!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Charles LeBracket!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Daniel Bishop and Paul Tew.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
LeBracket displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Ji Sung gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and LeBracket counters with a stiff right hand.
Ji Sung goes for a double leg but LeBracket avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as LeBracket continues to drive forward.
Ji Sung tries to close the distance and clinch but LeBracket swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Ji Sung walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
LeBracket cracks Ji Sung with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
LeBracket tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Ji Sung shoots in for a takedown but LeBracket shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Park Ji Sung. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Ji Sung moves to clinch but LeBracket breaks away
and LeBracket connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ji Sung is rocked!
Ji Sung gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and LeBracket counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Oh Ji Sung is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Ji Sung is breathing heavily.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Ji Sung looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Ji Sung seems to have got his legs back now.
Park Ji Sung seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
LeBracket scores with a jab to the jaw.
LeBracket cracks Ji Sung with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. LeBracket has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ji Sung to stand back up!
LeBracket throws an overhand right that drops Ji Sung like a sack of potatoes! LeBracket dives in to finish the fight with more strikes and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Charles LeBracket!
In his post fight interview, Charles LeBracket started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
