Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Steven King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bobby Bowen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
King has taken the fight to the clinch.
King can't break the clinch.
Bowen jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as King walks away with a smile on his face. Bowen gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bowen doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
King wants to break the clinch but can't.
King is trying to force a seperation but Bowen has the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
King stops a takedown attempt from Bowen.
King prevents the takedown attempt.
Steven King has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Bobby Bowen.
Bowen fails to pull the fight into his guard.

King is trying to force a seperation but Bowen has the dominant position.
King tries to pull guard but Bowen forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Bowen manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Bowen is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. King is aware though and is defending well.
Bowen had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. King defends it easily.
Bowen looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but King is defending well. Bowen quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! King has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Bowen celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.
