Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Beltshazar!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Chris Edwards and Donald Grub.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Darrow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Beltshazar was well out of range. Poor timing from Darrow.
Darrow ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
That kick from Darrow tenderised Beltshazar's leg. Beltshazar is trying to keep his angry face on.
Darrow scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Darrow wants to slow Beltshazar down by chopping away at his legs.
Darrow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Beltshazar tries to counter by closing the distance.
Darrow takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Darrow jabs Beltshazar to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Darrow misses with a body shot.
Darrow throws a body kick but he wasn't in range.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Beltshazar has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Darrow throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Beltshazar stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Darrow lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Darrow throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Beltshazar keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Beltshazar wants to counter with a clinch but Darrow pushes him away.
Darrow misses with a body shot.
Beltshazar uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Darrow.

Darrow throws a quick inside leg kick.
Beltshazar avoids the head kick by Darrow.
Beltshazar steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Darrow.
Darrow is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.

Beltshazar takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

It looks like Blair Darrow has been cut.
Darrow thows a left - swing and a miss!
Darrow feints a jab promting Beltshazar to slip. Darrow then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Beltshazar slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Darrow finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Darrow throws the left hand but Beltshazar avoids the punch easily.

Darrow clinches.
Darrow swings wildly with an uppercut but Beltshazar uses good head movement to avoid it.
Beltshazar blocks an uppercut.
Darrow tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Beltshazar's elbow.

Darrow tries to throw a body punch but Beltshazar avoids it by throwing Darrow back against the cage.
Darrow has a couple of punches blocked by Beltshazar.
Darrow misses with a hook from the clinch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by Beltshazar.
Darrow misses with a short punch on the inside.
Darrow throws a punch but it's blocked by Beltshazar.

Beltshazar pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Darrow throws out a leg kick but Beltshazar moves out of range and Darrow only half commits.
Darrow steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Beltshazar.
A counter left hand to the body from Darrow misses its target.
Darrow throws a leg kick but Beltshazar sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Beltshazar tries to counter with a clinch but Darrow shakes him off and moves away.
Darrow is looking to wear down Beltshazar with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Darrow has closed the distance and engaged Beltshazar in a clinch.
Darrow throws a head punch that misses.
A head punch on the inside from Darrow fails to land.
Darrow tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.
Darrow misses with a hook from the clinch.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Darrow.
Beltshazar swings wildly with an uppercut but Darrow uses good head movement to avoid it.

Beltshazar lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beltshazar blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Darrow.
Beltshazar wants to get back to striking at distance but Darrow won't allow it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Beltshazar is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Darrow misses with a body shot.
Beltshazar wants to counter with a clinch but Darrow pushes him away.
Darrow tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Good leg kick by Darrow there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Beltshazar is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
Blair Darrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Beltshazar throws a series of punches but Darrow moves out of range.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Darrow lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Beltshazar has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Beltshazar and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Ryan Beltshazar is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Darrow fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Beltshazar manages to avoid it.
Beltshazar wants to counter with a clinch but Darrow pushes him away.
Darrow bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

Darrow throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.
Beltshazar lands a jab-cross combination.


Darrow is rocked!
Darrow is aggressively charging in as Beltshazar backs up avoiding any damage. Beltshazar tosses out a jab and Darrow runs right into it face first! Darrow is out cold! Beltshazar dropped down on all fours and is barking in Darrow's face like a pit bull in celebration until the ref was finally able to pull him away!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:18 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Ryan Beltshazar!
In his post fight interview, Ryan Beltshazar started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
