Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Burt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Big Boy Rick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Big Boy Rick will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rick moves into the clinch.

Burt is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rick can't fight it off and eventually Burt manages to take the fight to the floor. Rick looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Rick is trying to keep Burt in close.
Rick preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Burt preventing the sweep.
Burt loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Burt with a flurry of punches that miss.
Burt trying to control but Rick is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Burt throws a strike but Rick rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.
Rick won't allow Burt to sweep him here.
Burt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Rick is standing up over Burt. Burt looks to escape but Rick dives into side control.

Rick wants to stand but Burt is controlling his arm.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Rick tries to keep at a distance but Burt has taken the fight into the clinch.
Burt tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Burt has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Rick is trying to keep an underhook but Burt manages to get the takedown into half guard.

Rick pushes Burt off looking to stand but Burt dives back in and keeps control.
Burt wants to control but Rick is keeping him busy.

Burt looks to score some points with some ground and pound.

Burt is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Rick sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are battling for position here. Rick manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Rick pushes Burt off and gets back to his feet.

Rick scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Burt sneaks out the side door and pushes Rick away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Rick in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Burt tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Burt is breathing heavily.
Rick looking to pass the guard.
Burt looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Rick puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Burt is not content to let Rick control the position.

Rick in half guard on the top. He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Burt tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Rick!
