Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jeffery Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Noel Diaz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Noel Diaz is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jeffery Keller! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Noel Diaz! The judges for this bout are Alyssa Summers, Jonathan Paton and Reed Andrews.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. Keller takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Diaz bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Diaz smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Diaz lands with a cross. Keller clinches. Diaz has a couple of punches blocked by Keller.
Both guys are working to get underhooks. Keller gets a trip takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Keller postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Diaz to stand up. Diaz works Keller's body with a nice hook. Nice uppercut lands for Diaz. That snapped Keller's head back.
Diaz lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. Keller shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Keller was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
That's one minute gone in the round. Diaz takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Keller tries to score with some ground and pound. Diaz controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Diaz tries to bench press Keller off him but Keller keeps the position. Diaz struggling a bit here. Diaz is trying to get back to half guard. Keller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Diaz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Keller looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Diaz connects with a jab. Keller throws a predictable looking body shot
and Diaz counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller pushes Diaz up against the cage in a clinch. Diaz misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Keller is trying to trip Diaz. He has hold of a leg but Diaz is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Keller persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Diaz is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Keller defends well. Keller avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Diaz working a defensive guard but Keller manages to pass into side control anyway.
Diaz looks winded! Diaz is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Diaz can't do much from the bottom here. Diaz is trying to escape the position but Keller is controlling the position. Diaz tries to improve position but can't. Keller decides to take the fight back to the feet. Diaz throws a big shot that misses. Keller bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Diaz tries to buck Keller off but Keller is having none of it. Keller really is a fat lump. Keller in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Keller working the body and head with strikes. Keller decides to stand up, so the ref orders Diaz to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Diaz! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Keller is maintaining the dominant position - no doubt Diaz will start to get frustrated soon if he's not already. Diaz is not in a great position here, taking some shots. Keller is working Diaz over with some ground and pound from side control. A lull in the action here. Keller has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Noel Diaz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Keller looking for a takedown here - he's got it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Jeffery Keller will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Keller.
Diaz lands a jab to the head.
Diaz has used his reach advantage pretty well so far tonight. Diaz scores with a sloppy right hand. Keller should have avoided that one. Keller on the wrong end of a nice hook. Keller looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. Keller on the wrong end of a nice jab. Diaz misses with an uppercut. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Keller rushes Diaz and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Diaz misses with a punch on the inside.
Keller decides to pull guard. Diaz drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Diaz jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keller bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Diaz's guard.
Diaz is breathing heavily. Diaz is looking for a triangle but Keller pushes his legs off easily.
Keller keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Diaz's head. Keller might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Keller chips away with some ground and pound. Keller wants to get up but he can't break Diaz's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Diaz is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Keller is aware though and is defending well. Jeffery Keller overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Keller engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Diaz looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Keller chips away with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Keller landing some decent shots from guard. Keller not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Diaz has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Keller is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Diaz. Keller stands up and we're back to a striking position. Diaz might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. Keller throws a right hand that misses
and Diaz counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Keller darts in and clinches Diaz up against the cage. Keller turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller scores with punches from side control. Keller is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Keller stands up and beckons Diaz to his feet. Keller scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground. Diaz on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Keller knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Diaz on the ground. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Keller connects with a nice short shot to Diaz's temple.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. Keller is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Diaz sees it coming and defends easily. Keller prevents Diaz from improving his position. Diaz is pressing down on Keller's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Keller controls from within his opponent's guard. Keller is working Diaz over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jeffery Keller dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Keller closes the distance and clinches. Diaz misses with a hook from the clinch. Diaz ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Diaz no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Keller would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Diaz has momentary wrist control but Keller slips an elbow through the middle. Keller stays in close to Diaz's body and controls the position. Keller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Diaz has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Keller has managed to get both his arms back between Diaz's legs - danger averted. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Keller doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Keller manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Diaz escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Keller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Diaz takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.
That's one minute gone in the round. Keller slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Diaz is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Keller working some strikes from top position. Keller seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Keller with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Diaz wants to control but Keller passes easily into half guard.
Keller winds up and cracks Diaz with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Keller stands, ready to strike. The ref makes him back up and allows Diaz to get to his feet. Keller takes the fight into the clinch. Keller turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control! Keller working the ground and pound. Keller decides to take the fight back to the feet. Keller rushes Diaz and presses him up against the cage. Keller breaks from the clinch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Keller shoots in and gets a takedown into Diaz's guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Keller seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Keller postures up and lands a big shot to Diaz's brow. Diaz looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Keller passes into half guard.
Noel Diaz has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Keller takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Diaz looking to force a kimura from the bottom here. He's concentrating on that move too much though and Keller pushes past his half guard into mount! Keller lands a couple of good shots and Diaz has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Jeffery Keller is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Keller controls the action.
And that's the end of the fight! Jeffery Keller showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Keller, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
